Pleasant View Baptist Church believes it is the purpose of the local church to focus on the growth of the Kingdom of God worldwide.  The Lord Jesus Christ taught us we must begin at home in reaching the world with the Gospel. 

The ministry of Pleasant View is focused on training people to carry out the Great Commission to reach our world.  We have decided to use GROW for our pattern for outreach.  With GROW (God Reward Our Work), we have four outreach teams.  Each team meets one day each month.  The Green Team meets on the first Tuesday.  The Red Team meets on the second Tuesday.  The Orange Team meets on the third Tuesday.  The White Team meets on the fourth Tuesday.  Everyone is invited to meet on any fifth Tuesday. 

Before each meeting team members decide whether they want to visit, make telephone calls, write letters, or let the team leader decide.   Following these activities, we present our report, which will also be a time of celebration of what God is doing.  It is the focus of ministry for Pleasant View.  Everything we do through ministry focuses on Kingdom Growth and everything we do is ministry.
